Anant Kasibhatla- India National Record Holder & brother World Record Holder Nishant Kasibhatla 

 

At our weekly meeting on 19 July 2006, guest speakersMemory World Record Holder Nishant Kasibhatla & brother India National Memory  Record Holder Anant Kasibhatla gave us short demonstration on how to remember. Nishant hold the world record of remembering 1944 digists out of a 2000 digit number. He say all us can do what he does when train with the right method. Phew!! Some of can’t even rememeber a 8 digit phone numbers.

They taught us how to associates things we need to remember with something common.

"That is why the twin towers has a hot air balloon on top which an elephant appears and threw flowers onto a tent which out come a rocket that hit a go kart driven by Jackie Chan who run up a ladder to find a panda bear eating noodles snatch by a monkey who jump inside a washing machine which has a samosa inside working on MS Windows which has a picture of a train with big loud speakers blasting out meow sound of a cat who sat on a chair holding an umbrella."

Kozue Kitayama “Sayonara” leaving for home 16 July 2006

Kozue presentation on Japan

Kozue Kitayama….Our first youth exchange programme student from Japan. She arrived on Monday 22 August 2005. This beautiful and sweet young Japanese girl have touch lots of our hearts with her friendly warm smiles and pleasant personality.

She have venture into our Malaysian heart land, all the way up north to and way down south… savoring our abundance of  fine cuisine dine, our un spoilt landscape and most of all our warm Malaysian hospitality. She also visit the land beneath the wind, Sabah & Sarawark. She has even dine with Royalties. And we have learned a lot from her… we will miss her.

Of course all us at Damansara-West have truly enjoy the little time we share together with her. We have found a friend from across thousands of miles and we are sure our friendship will be everlasting.

 On Sunday 16 July 2006 she left for home…
